Away for a while...will surely miss catching up with all the wonderful new posts of my blog-pals and visitors... Actually, blogging is quite like shouting into the cyber wilderness and the occasional echo one gets in the form of comments and mails is reassuring and also amusing that there's somebody else doing the same :)

The Mustang set the pulses racing!

The 1967 Ford Mustang is arguably one the most famous American cars ever built...apart from its movie-star looks, power-packed performance and an amazing engine sound, it has also appeared in some memorable Hollywood car chase sequences - Bullit and Gone in Sixty Seconds...it's one star that can surely set pulses racing!

NOTE: The blog has been dormant for a while now...Busy preparing to move to a new house, I did relocate earlier this year but the surroundings have become too noisy...not conducive for someone like me who enjoys quietude.

This quick sketch reminded me of my high school biology teacher, considered a tad eccentric, but was really an intriguing person who managed to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity about the natural world around. I was able to recall the names of all the bones while drawing this skeleton! Miss MS, Thank you for all those inspiring and informing lectures!

Double-decker memories

In the mid-80s, as a school boy, I visited Bombay for the first time and was thrilled to ride the double-decker bus. Similar to the London buses, these indigenous red buses of the city's public transport (BEST) were iconic sights. This sketch is a celebration of all those childhood memories where double decker buses, railway locomotives and airplanes occupy a special place :)
